Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has taken action against Pfizer, Inc., suing them for allegations of misrepresenting the efficacy of the Covid vaccine and for conspiring to censor public discourse on the subject.

The lawsuit is a significant action from the Texas AG, who has become known for taking strong legal recourse against Goliathan opponents like the Biden administration.

In an official statement from Paxton’s office, he explained the key allegations of the suit:

  • He alleged that Pfizer engaged in “false, deceptive, and misleading acts and practices by making unsupported claims regarding the company’s COVID-19 vaccine in violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act,”
  • He also alleged that the vaccine itself “failed to live up to the company’s representations” and that “COVID-19 cases increased after widespread vaccine administration, and some areas saw a greater percentage of deaths from COVID-19 among the vaccinated population than the unvaccinated,”
  • AG Paxton further accused Pfizer of pushing censorship on the discussion of the Covid vaccine, writing in the lawsuit, “How did Pfizer respond when it became apparent that its vaccine was failing and the viability of its cash cow was threatened? By intimidating those spreading the truth, and by conspiring to censor its critics.”

The suit accused Pfizer of coercing social media platforms to “silence prominent truth tellers.”

Moreover, this lawsuit comes on the heels of Pfizer’s recent reported multi-billion dollar losses, which resulted in $5.6 billion in inventory write-offs due to “lack of vaccine sales,” RSBN previously reported.

AG Paxton stated in his official press release regarding the lawsuit against Pfizer that he was “pursuing justice for the people of Texas,” attacking “tyrannical vaccine mandates” and the allegedly “defective product sold by lies.”

“I will use every tool I have to protect our citizens who were misled and harmed by Pfizer’s actions,” he vowed.
