President Donald Trump teased eager supporters with a fun excerpt from his upcoming book, “Letters to Trump,” sharing a note from former President Richard Nixon, who wrote to the young real estate developer in 1987.

“My new book is almost here!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “In 1987, President Richard Nixon wrote to me, that when I decide to run for office I will be victorious.”

“Letters to Trump,” which is slated to released on April 25, is a collection of 150 private letters that the 45th president received over more than 40 years, RSBN reported.

The letter from President Nixon read:

“Dear Donald,

I did not see the program, but Mrs. Nixon told me that you were great on the Donahue Show. As you can imagine, she is an expert on politics and she predicts that whenever you decide to run for office you will be a winner!”

President Trump’s newest release comes after his late 2021 publication of “Our Journey Together,” a coffee table style book that featured a collection of photos from his first term in the White House.

Per RSBN, “Letters to Trump” will feature letters from notable figures such as former President Ronald Reagan, Princess Diana, Arnold Palmer, Liza Minnelli, Jay Leno, former President Bill Clinton, and even Hillary Clinton.

The book description stated, “In his latest book, published by Winning Team Publishing, Letters to Trump, reveals part of the incredible private collection of correspondence between President Donald J. Trump and the countless world leaders, celebrities, athletes, and business leaders who shaped the United States and the world!”

The new publication from the president will likely surprise some readers and serve as a reminder that before he stepped into the political arena, Trump was beloved and revered by both Republicans and Democrats alike.
