The “Great American State Fair” celebration is set to kick off on Wednesday in Washington, D.C., on the National Mall, officially launching a final and prolific celebration period leading up to America’s 250th birthday party.
The event, titled “America is Back,” will be headlined by President Donald Trump, and showcase a wide array of musical performances. According to Freedom 250, the celebration on June 24th will begin at 7:00 PM ET and feature military flyovers, Armed Forces choirs, and musical performances by Lee Greenwood and Christopher Macchio.
The website for the event noted that the Great American State Fair, which will feature pavilions highlighting the heritage and culture of all 50 states and U.S. territories, will be open to the public from June 25 to July 10.
The event was repositioned slightly after scheduling issues with mainstream singers, who purportedly dropped out of the Freedom 250 concert series for supposed political reasons.
“We should have a giant MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN RALLY, for 250, instead of having overpriced singers, who nobody wants to hear, whose music is boring, and yet who do nothing but complain,” President Trump wrote in late May, hitting back at the eleventh-hour cancellations.
As reported by RSBN, he criticized the artists who dropped out of the event for being paid “far too much money, who aren’t happy.”
He continued, “I only want to be surrounded by Happy People, Smart People, Successful People, and People that know how to WIN. So, by copy of this TRUTH, I am ordering my Representatives to look at the feasibility of doing an AMERICA IS BACK Rally on Wednesday, Washington, D.C., same time, same location.”
President Trump appears to have brought that vision to life. The Freedom 250 event page touted the upcoming fair as, “A celebration that will transform the National Mall with state and territory pavilions celebrating all 56 states and territories, specialty exhibits, live performances, interactive experiences, and classic fair attractions.”
It added, “Educational exhibits and immersive digital experiences will bring the Story of America to life for guests of all ages.”
The kickoff celebration begins on June 24, 2026. Watch live, all-day coverage of the event on RSBN beginning at 1:00 PM EDT on YouTube, Rumble, X, Facebook, and RSBN’s official website.
