President Trump brought the heat on Friday when discussing his political opponent, Joe Biden, and announced that as president again in 2025, he would appoint a “special task force” that would review the cases of “every political prisoner who has been unjustly persecuted by the Biden administration.”
This statement drew huge applause and cheers from the audience of faith-based conservatives in Washington, D.C., at the Family Research Council’s “Pray, Vote, Stand Summit.”
The president said that the creation of this task force would “reverse these cruel travesties of justice” inflicted upon Americans by the Biden regime.
Trump spoke on Friday evening about foreign policy, “election interference,” abortion, and a variety of other political topics during his speech. He said that America’s enemies were “interfering with our elections” with the ongoing political and legal persecution of himself, the leading Republican candidate in the GOP presidential primary.
“It’s happening for a single reason…because I’m the only candidate they don’t want to run against,” he explained.
The president said that this weaponization of America’s justice system had turned the country into a “banana republic” and vowed that the country would “do better in 2024 than we’ve ever done – and I can tell you that there’s NEVER been spirit like THIS.”
