President Donald Trump vowed to end the weaponization of the justice system on Saturday night while speaking to an energetic crowd in Waterford, Township, Michigan, at a “Get Out the Vote Rally.”
He eviscerated the recent decision from New York Judge Arthur Engoron in his civil fraud trial where he was ordered to pay over $350 million and received a three-year ban on participating in the New York real estate industry.
He declared, “When we win back the White House we will have no higher prioritization than ending his horrible legal system…this is a real threat to democracy!”
Trump said that Judge Engoron was a left-wing judge who “sets fire to our laws like no one in this country has ever seen before.” He said this only happened in a “banana republic.”
Trump continued, “It’s a sham case, there were victims, no default, ono damages, no complaints.”
He pointed out that he had lost maybe a couple of billion dollars since running for president, but added “it was the best thing I ever did” and that he would soon be making the country “greater than ever before.”
The president further pointed out that in the civil fraud case, they utilizied a “consumer fraud statute…that has never been used before for this purpose…no case has ever been brought like this!”
He added, “There is merely an election interference PLOY.”
