President Donald Trump ripped Vice President Kamala Harris, who claimed that he is a fascist, instead warning that she is a threat to democracy.
Newsmax reported that during a CNN town hall in Washington, D.C., Harris was asked by CNN moderator Anderson Cooper whether she believed that Trump is a fascist. Her answer was, “Yes, I do. Yes, I do.”
She also falsely added that if he were to win the election, he would be “a president who admires dictators and is a fascist.”
Harris’ shift from messages of joy to bashing Trump as a threat to democracy is a clear sign of desperation as the election draws nearer, especially as he leads in a growing number of recent polls.
Steven Cheung, President Trump’s campaign communications director, pointed out what this shift in Harris’s campaign means in an official statement regarding Harris’s false comments.
Cheung said, “Kamala Harris is a stone-cold loser who is increasingly desperate because she is flailing, and her campaign is in shambles. That is why she continues to peddle outright lies and falsehoods that are easily disproven.”
The Hill shared the latest national poll conducted by HarrisX and Forbes that revealed Trump is nationally ahead of Harris by two points. In addition, another poll from the Emerson College Polling Center shows that he is also leading Harris in key states like North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Cheung also added, “The fact is that Kamala’s dangerous rhetoric is directly to blame for the multiple assassination attempts against President Trump and she continues to stoke the flames of violence all in the name of politics. She is despicable and her grotesque behavior proves she is wholly unfit for office.”
Trump shared his thoughts on Harris’ comments on his social network platform Truth Social. He wrote, “Comrade Kamala Harris sees that she is losing, and losing badly,” and added, “So now she is increasingly raising her rhetoric, going so far as to call me Adolf Hitler, and anything else that comes to her warped mind.”
He also warned, “She is a Threat to Democracy, and not fit to be President of the United States — And her Polling so indicates!”
