President Trump came after ex-lawyer Michael Cohen on Thursday morning, amid an ongoing civil fraud trial that the president has been intermittently attending in New York City.

In a statement posted to Truth Social, Trump slammed the judge presiding over the case, Arthur Engoron, and accused him of finding him “GUILTY before the trial even started, and long before he had the real facts, like Michael Cohen collapsing and choking yesterday under cross examination, and completely admitting that I did nothing.”

According to Fox News, Cohen confirmed on the stand this week that Trump “didn’t” ask him to inflate the numbers of his personal financial statements. The alleged inflation of such assets is the focal point on which the case rests, in which New York Attorney General Letitia James is accusing Trump and his organization of allegedly overestimating the worth of his business holdings.

“He [Cohen] committed MASSIVE PERJURY, at a level seldom seen on the stand before,” Trump continued.

He also compared Cohen’s testimony to an episode of Perry Mason, the hit 1950s-era television show centered on the endeavors of a fictional criminal defense attorney who defends those wrongly accused of committing crimes.

Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung comments on the unfolding case in NYC.

Trump said, “This case should be ended, NOW, but this Judge and his ‘boss,’ Letitia Peekaboo James, will never let that happen. He even refuses to accept our big win in the Appeals Court. It is a disgrace to the legal system in the State of New York. This is a RIGGED CASE!”

Per Fox News’ report, Trump was slapped with a $10,000 fine on Wednesday due to the judge’s claims that he had violated a standing gag order regarding criticism the president made about Engoron’s law clerk.

On Thursday morning, Trump added on Truth Social that Judge Engoron and AG James “refuses to accept the overturning of his decision by the Appeals Court,” accusing Engoron of going “CRAZY IN HIS HATRED OF ‘TRUMP.’”

He concluded, “This is Judicial Misconduct, coupled with Prosecutorial Misconduct, and somebody from the State of New York must step in and stop this Complete & Total Miscarriage of Justice!”
