President Trump may have a new nickname for Biden just in time for the first presidential debate on Thursday night.
In an early morning Truth Social post, the 45th president slammed Biden’s “handlers” for being upset that fact-checkers would not be available to correct falsehoods in real-time during the debate.
Trump called their faux outrage “DISINFORMATION,” writing, “They could not be happier, because there is nobody that’s as loose with the TRUTH as Crooked Joe.”
He listed various hoaxes that Biden has latched onto over the years, including “the 51 Fake Intelligence Agents, to Russia Russia Russia, to the Fake ‘Suckers and Losers Story.’”
President Trump also highlighted Biden’s lies about his life experiences, including his falsehoods about his academic career, his participation in Civil Rights marches, driving trucks, and his golfing abilities.
Trump called Biden “a walking LYING MACHINE and a Fact Checker’s DREAM,” asking, “Maybe we should call him ‘Lyin’ Joe’ in addition to Crooked?”
The debate is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. ET on CNN, but whether the moderators will treat Trump and Biden fairly remains to be seen. Both hosts have been highly critical of Trump in recent years, which was pointed out by Trump spokesperson Caroline Leavitt during a heated CNN interview on Monday.
