President Donald Trump announced on Sunday night that he would be headed to court on Monday to “fight for my name and reputation” in a civil trial that has been spearheaded by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Last week, Judge Arthur Engoron ruled against President Trump and the Trump Organization, citing alleged fraud in business dealings. According to the Daily Mail, the ruling included a valuation of Trump’s sprawling Mar-a-Lago property in Florida at just $18 million.

Trump railed against the ruling on Truth Social late Sunday evening, writing, “Judge Engoron’s Valuation of Mar-a-Lago, the most spectacular property in Palm Beach, Florida, IS FRAUDULENT! He states a value of 18 Million Dollars, knowing full well that it is worth, perhaps, 50 to 100 times that amount.”

According to the Daily Mail, Mar-a-Lago is likely worth hundreds of millions of more dollars than the valuation that Judge Engoron dished out.

The president continued, “Engoron is working diligently to misrepresent me, and my net worth, which is substantially MORE than is shown on my fully ‘disclaimed’ Financial Statements. I have not even included my most valuable asset – BRAND!”

According to the Associated Press, AG James has alleged that Trump has “falsely inflated his net worth to enrich himself and cheat the system,” but the president has strongly denied this.

In terms of his properties and net worth, Trump stated, “She [James] is fully aware that Mar-a-Lago, and other assets, are worth much more than what she is claiming. Both of these Democrat Operatives are a disgrace to New York, and to the United States of America!”

The president has also called the case a “SHAM” in addition to what he has alleged is a “FRAUDULENT” valuation of Mar-a-Lago.

President Trump has faced multiple legal battles this year amid his 2024 presidential reelection campaign. Per RSBN, Trump’s son, Eric, declared on social media that AG James has a history of publicly deriding President Trump. She is also on video promising that if elected New York attorney general, she would be a “real pain in the ass.”
