President Donald Trump delivered an emphatic speech on Tuesday to a sea of supporters at his Bedminster, New Jersey, home following a Miami, Florida, court appearance.
“They want to take away my freedom, because I will never let them take away your freedom,” said the 45th president after pleading not guilty to 37 federal charges during his arraignment.
The allegations are part of an ongoing investigation from Joe Biden’s Department of Justice which claims that Trump is guilty of mishandling supposed classified documents. In defense, Trump and his team are using existing law to refute the allegations.
Arresting a former president is an unprecedented historical moment in American history, especially, when the former president, Trump, is the strongest rival to the leader of the Democrat Party. Therefore, this action from the Biden administration is viewed by many as an act of political persecution in an attempt to deny Americans the right to vote for their preferred candidate.
Emphatically, the crowd erupted in thunderous applause when Trump claimed, “They want to silence me, because I will never let them silence you.”
Later, Trump told the audience “They want you silenced,” and that he is the only person that can “save this nation” from a Deep State takeover. Moreover, he reiterated that “They’re” not going after him, but instead are going after the American people and that he is “standing in their way.” Subsequently, Trump promised from the podium that he “will never be moving” out of the way of rogue government officials in his effort to protect America.
President Trump confidently predicted that “justice will be done” when he is reelected as president in 2024. “We will take back our country and we will Make America Great Again,” proclaimed Trump.
