President Donald Trump posted his first updates to X (formerly Twitter) in nearly a year ahead of a Monday interview with the social media platform’s owner Elon Musk.
Trump’s first post garnered over 11 million views within the first two hours of being posted.
“Are you better off now than you were when I was president?” he asked.
“Our economy is shattered. Our border has been erased. We’re a nation in decline. Make the American Dream AFFORDABLE again. Make America SAFE again. Make America GREAT Again!” he added.
Trump soon added several additional posts to announce his return to the X platform. A second post highlighted his interview with Musk at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
The 45th president continued to add five videos in the next two hours. The first video included Trump’s voice from a rally as he walked down a hallway in a black and white political ad.
A second video told users, “MEET SAN FRANCISCO RADICAL KAMALA HARRIS!” It was followed by a collection of clips featuring Harris.
A third video included the caption, “TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!”
Two additional political ad videos were also added to Trump’s profile, including a pinned two-and-a-half-minute pinned video with over 18 million views.
As RSBN previously reported, Musk will interview Trump on Monday at 8 p.m. Eastern Time (5 p.m. Pacific) in what the 45th president is calling the “interview of the century.”
The Team Trump post update of the event was shared on Trump’s Truth Social profile Monday morning with the exact time of the event.
“President Trump will be interviewed by Elon Musk on Monday at 8 pm Eastern,” the post stated. “Like this post to be notified when the interview begins. IT WILL BE THE INTERVIEW OF THE CENTURY! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
The interview will be hosted on X at Trump’s account @ReadlDonaldTrump.com.
Musk stated in a post that the interview would be “This is unscripted with no limits on subject matter, so should be highly entertaining!”
