President Trump packed in a staggering crowd of 80,000 people on the Jersey Shore in Wildwood on Saturday, proving that blue states are indeed in play for the president in 2024.
Set amidst the backdrop of the sand, the sea, and an amusement park spinning with carousals and rollercoasters, Trump took the stage in Jersey to overwhelming applause and excitement from supporters that were spread out as far as the eye could see.
With the general election just six months away, such a massive showing of support in a traditional âblue stateâ for President Trump is nothing to ignore. It indicates the presidentâs growing momentum among voting Americans who are tired of the beleaguered failure and weakness of the Biden administration and looking for a strong alternative in leadership.
As the presidentâs motorcade made its way to the venue on Saturday, he was greeted in the streets by supporters lined up around the block, sporting Trump flags and shirts, cheering their support as he passed by. See the video here:
In his remarks, Trump opened by expressing his love for New Jersey and asking for blue statesâ help in saving America.
He noted that whether the crowd was Republican, Democrat, or Independent, âIâm asking for your HELP in saving America, our countryâs in trouble, itâs in big trouble! Weâll end up in World War Three!â
He praised the Wildwood Jersey Shore and noted that âso-called blue statesâ were âjoining our movement based on love, intelligence and a thing called COMMON SENSE!â
Trump added, âYou know in your heart that this country is not going to survive four more years of Crooked Joe Biden!â
The president also said that the America First movement was looking to expand the electoral map by making a heavy move for New Jersey, Virginia, and Minnesota.
