Trump makes new book recommendation

President Trump has endorsed a new book. In a Truth Social post on Tuesday, Trump shared his recommendation for “The Color of Death,” a novel by former congressman and current Fox News host Trey Gowdy.

“Number One New York Times Bestselling Author, Trey Gowdy, has just written a GREAT new novel, “THE COLOR OF DEATH,” an in-depth study of justice and grief,” Trump said. “Trey is also a Political Pro, and a very good and talented guy. The novel, co-written by Gowdy and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Christopher Greyson, is a murder mystery set in a small town in South Carolina. It follows the story of an assistant district attorney as he investigates a murder and attempts to track down the killer.

Gowdy served four terms in Congress as the representative for the 4th Congressional District of South Carolina. Prior to his time in Congress, Gowdy served as a federal prosecutor and 7th Circuit Solicitor in South Carolina. He chose not to seek re-election in 2018 and has since pursued a career in writing, teaching and media. He is the current host of Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy on Fox News.
