President Trump made a strong argument in the ongoing debate surrounding presidential immunity in a new video posted to Truth Social.

On Tuesday, he headed to Washington, D.C., where he had previously announced that he would be attending the court arguments on the issue of presidential immunity at the U.S. Court of Appeals.

“Because of Joe Biden, I spend a lot of time in COURTS. Federal, state, city – tomorrow I’ll be attending another Biden-inspired Federal Appeals court argument on presidential immunity in Washington, D.C,” Trump said.

He explained that, as president, he was “entitled” to presidential immunity. As reported by RSBN, the current election-related case against the 45th president in the federal courts seeks to answer the supposed question of whether he should have presidential immunity for investigating reports of voter fraud. At the same time, he was the sitting president in 2020.

“Every president…is entitled to immunity,” President Trump continued. “I wasn’t working for myself, I was working for the country.”

He noted that not only was he looking for voter fraud, but “was FINDING it – tremendous voter fraud in the 2020 election. I was doing my JOB, which I HAD to do.”

President Trump railed against Joe Biden for utilizing the nation’s levers of justice to attack his political opponent, pointing out that if he didn’t get immunity, then Joe didn’t, either. In fact, Trump called such a ruling on the issue a “Pandora’s box” that could prove to be politically and legally troublesome for Biden.

Trump highlighted Biden’s many failures, including the ongoing invasion at the southern border and America’s disastrous surrender and withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021. He drew attention to reports of Joe Biden’s alleged foreign business dealings, where he reportedly pulled in “millions and millions” from foreign entities.

“Joe would be ripe for indictment,” Trump remarked.

He also added that the “least” he was entitled to was presidential immunity, “just like any other president would get.”

President Trump strongly asserted that the ongoing legal indictments against him were directly a result of Joe Biden utilizing the “Department of Injustice” to attack his political opponent “because he’s losing badly.”

However, President Trump also said that despite the relentless attacks, “it’s pushed us way up in the polls…people see it’s a scam, they see it’s a persecution.”

He remarked, “They’re running a political campaign in a dirty way, even worse than they did previously, and frankly, it’s never happened in our country before.”
