President Donald Trump detailed part of his 2024 presidential plans to continue draining the D.C. swamp in a video released to the nation on Tuesday.

The 45th president is strongly concerned about the Biden administration’s mishandling of foreign relations. “World War III has never been closer than it is right now,” stressed Trump.

However, he did not identify a problem without proposing a solution to broker peace. “We need to clean house of all of the warmongers and America’s last globalists in the deep state, the Pentagon, the State Department, and the national security industrial complex,” Trump said.

Qualifying his expertise, Trump touted his accomplishment as the “only president in generations” not to start a war. The 2024 presidential candidate confidently “rejected the catastrophic advice of many of Washington’s generals, bureaucrats, and the so-called diplomats who only know how to get us into conflict, but they don’t know how to get us out.”

Trump blamed career government officials including “Victoria Nuland,” the current U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, for the heightened threats of war.

“For decades, we’ve had the very same people, such as Victoria Nuland and many others just like her obsessed with pushing Ukraine toward NATO, not to mention the State Department support for uprisings in Ukraine,” said Trump. He also claimed that “these people have been seeking confrontation for a long time.”

Trump’s alarm of a potential Third World War follows the announcement by Russian President Vladimir Putin that Russia will not limit its nuclear weaponry.

Russia invaded Ukraine one year ago, but according to Trump that would not have happened under his watch. The 45th president believes that he could resolve the geopolitical conflict within 24 hours.

Under his new administration, President Trump plans to appoint a “new group of competent national security officials who believe in defending America’s vital interests above all else.”
