President Donald Trump has swept to victory in the great state of North Carolina, bringing home another win tonight in the rapid-fire Super Tuesday Republican primary contests, Decision Desk HQ has projected.
North Carolina is the third of 15 states up for grabs tonight in the 2024 GOP primary election, and it looks like Trump is on track to win most, if not all, of the states on the line on Tuesday evening.
According to data from Decision Desk HQ, they projected Trump’s win in North Carolina almost immediately after the polls closed at 7;30 p.m. ET. The final margin of projected victory was not immediately available.
Last week, President Trump held an electric rally in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he called on voters to show up to the polls in a tidal wave that made the election “TOO BIG TO RIG!”
He explained, “Republicans MUST WIN. We want a LANDSLIDE, we have to win. We have to win so that it’s TOO BIG TO RIG!”
Based on Trump’s victories so far in the Super Tuesday primary election, it looks like the president is on track to accomplish exactly that.
