President Donald Trump was slapped with another shockingly over-the-top indictment on Monday evening, sealing the deal on a fourth indictment that had been anticipated this year.

The president reacted to the news on Truth Social, calling the debacle a “Witch Hunt” and suggesting that the legal process in Georgia was “Rigged.”

He wrote, “So, the Witch Hunt continues! 19 people Indicated tonight, including the former President of the United States, me, by an out of control and very corrupt District Attorney who campaigned and raised money on, ‘I will get Trump.’”

The charges against Trump – which clocked in at 41 – were brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. The charges were related to the president’s alleged efforts to “overturn” the 2020 presidential election results. The entire case is centered on phone calls that the president made to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in 2020.

The formal indictment that was leveled against the president came just hours after the Fulton County courthouse inexplicably posted a possible indictment list against President Trump online and then mysteriously removed it from the website.

Trump pointed out, “And what about those Indictment Documents put out today, long before the Grand Jury even voted, and then quickly withdrawn? Sounds Rigged to me! Why didn’t they Indict 2.5 years ago? Because they wanted to do it right in the middle of my political campaign. Witch Hunt!”

Trump allies on Tuesday were quick to rush to the president’s defense in the wake of yet another indictment for the 45th president. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., posted a picture of an upside-down American flag, signifying the nation’s distress.

Trump ally and former Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake wrote on X, “The stakes are clear. We either elect @realDonaldTrump to be the 47th President of the United States, or the corrupt deep state sends him to jail for the ‘crime’ of returning the government back to We the People. Enough of this Banana Republic. We want our free country back[.]”

The Trump campaign powerfully responded to DA Willis and the charges leveled against the president, scorching her as a “rabid partisan who is campaigning and fundraising on a platform of prosecuting President Trump through these bogus indictments.”

The campaign stated, “They could have brought this two and half years ago, yet they chose to do this for election interference reasons in the middle of President Trump’s successful campaign. He is not only leading all Republicans by a lot but he is leading against Joe Biden in almost every poll. President Trump represents the greatest threat to these Democrats’ political futures (and the greatest hope for America).”

They also noted that the radical left was “taking away President Trump’s First Amendment right to free speech, and the right to challenge a rigged election that the Democrats do all the time.”
