President Donald Trump took questions from the press on Friday afternoon at Mar-a-Lago, where he was joined by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, R-La., during joint remarks aimed at addressing election integrity and securing the southern border.

However, when asked about the ongoing FISA squabble unfolding on Congress (it’s up for renewal), Trump replied, “I’m not a big fan of FISA…they spied on my campaign, you know that, right?”

Trump said that he told House Republicans to “do what you want” and noted that the today’s recent vote had reduced the renewal on FISA to two years instead of five. “So that it would now come to in the early part of my administration, on the basis that we live up to the polls,” Trump remarked.

He concluded, “I’m not a big fan of FISA, I think it’s terrible.”

Trump also warned during his comments that the country had bigger problems that worrying about the ongoing Republican infighting about whether Speaker Johnson should hold his position in Congress.

“We could end up in a World War,” he pointed out, highlighting the growing threat of Russia, Ukraine, and “all of the chaos.”

“We have much bigger problems,” he said.
