President Donald Trump announced several new leaders in his administration on Tuesday, including Kimberly Guilfoyle as the U.S. Ambassador to Greece.

Trump released the list of names and nominations in a series of posts to his Truth Social account.

“Today, I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Kimberly Guilfoyle as the United States Ambassador to Greece. For many years, Kimberly has been a close friend and ally. Her extensive experience and leadership in law, media, and politics along with her sharp intellect make her supremely qualified to represent the United States, and safeguard its interests abroad,” Trump wrote.

“Kimberly is perfectly suited to foster strong bilateral relations with Greece, advancing our interests on issues ranging from defense cooperation to trade and economic innovation,” he added. “Congratulations Kimberly!”

Guilfoyle posted a statement on X expressing her thanks to Trump for the nomination.

“I’m honored to accept President Trump’s nomination to serve as the next Ambassador to Greece and I look forward to earning the support of the U.S. Senate. President Trump’s historic victory is bringing hope and optimism to the American people and to freedom-loving allies across the world,” she wrote.

“It was the democratic values born in Greece that helped shape the founding of America. And now, we have an opportunity to honor that history by bringing better days here at home and abroad. As ambassador, I look forward to delivering on the Trump agenda, supporting our Greek allies, and ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity,” Guilfoyle added.

Guilfoyle is known as a former Fox News host who previously served as the chair of the Trump Victory Committee, the fundraising arm of the 45th president’s campaign, in 2020.

Her intriguing history also includes an engagement to Donald Trump Jr. She was also previously married to California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom from 2001 to 2006 before he was governor, according to the New York Post.

Trump also announced Andrew Ferguson to be the next Chair of the Federal Trade Commission, Jacob Helberg will be the next Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment, Tom Barrack as the next Ambassador to Turkey, Congressman Dan Bishop from North Carolina as Deputy Director for Budget at the Office of Management and Budget, Ed Martin as the next Chief of Staff at the Office of Management and Budget, Mark R. Meador to be a Commissioner on the Federal Trade Commission and Ronald (Ron) Johnson to serve as the United States Ambassador to Mexico.
