Trump rips ‘weak and frightened’ Bill Barr who ignored the ‘CRIME OF THE CENTURY’

President Donald Trump blasted former Attorney General Bill Barr Friday morning after the Jan. 6 Committee used his comments to support their accusations against the 45th president.

Following the Jan. 6 Committee’s Thursday night public hearing, which Trump described as “a one sided, totally partisan, POLITICAL WITCH HUNT,” the 45th president said, “Bill Barr was a weak and frightened Attorney General.”

In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump claimed Bill Barr was “stupid” and “a coward.” He argued that Barr was “always being ‘played’ and threatened by Democrats.”

Trump’s statement also suggested that Barr was “scared stiff of being Impeached” for serving as Trump’s attorney general. He explained, “How do you not get impeached? Do nothing, or say nothing, especially about the obviously RIGGED & STOLEN Election or, to put it another way, THE CRIME OF THE CENTURY!”

Trump added he believes the Democrats “hit pay dirt with Barr”.

Trump’s statements were in response to Barr’s testimony in front of the Jan. 6 Committee, where the former attorney general said, “I did not agree with the idea of saying the election was stolen and putting out this stuff. I didn’t want to be a part of it and that’s one of the reasons that went into me deciding to leave when I did.”

Before the Jan. 6 hearing Thursday, Trump released several statements rebuking partisan politics. The 45th president’s Save America PAC also released an advertisement ahead of the event, labeling the Jan. 6 Committee as “another partisan witch hunt.”

The ad claims Democrats are using the issue of Jan. 6 to distract the American people from more pressing issues, such as runaway inflation, rising gas prices, baby formula shortages, the war in Ukraine, and the southern border crisis.

Trump’s Friday statements seem to indicate his growing frustration with what he sees as establishment Republicans aiding the Democrat Party. As Trump pointed out, Barr “ridiculously said there was no problem with the Election, & they left him alone.” Trump added, “It worked for him, but not for our Country!”
