President Donald Trump was rushed off staged Saturday evening at his Pennsylvania rally after appearing to have been shot at, video footage shows.
Footage posted online and captured on cable networks shows Trump speaking at his packed rally. After he began speaking shortly after 6 p.m. EST when the incident occurred.
Trump could be seen immediately touching his right ear and Secret Service members jumped onto the stage guarding the president with their bodies.
Crowd members could be then heard screaming before more security came onto the stage to guard the 45th president before lifting him to get Trump into their secured cars.
As Trump was lifted up, he could be seen pumping his fist in the air and appearing to say “fight” as the crowd cheered for him. Photos of the incident online have captured Trump’s right ear bleeding as a result of the incident.
It is unclear what hit the 45th president, however, his motorcade was confirmed to have left the rally with his conditions still unknown, according to KTLA.
