President Donald Trump brought a bold and confident message to the people of South Carolina on Friday, just one day before Saturday’s GOP primary election, where the president is poised to crush the state’s former governor Nikki Haley.
“I’m more confident than EVER that we will soon be sitting behind that Resolute Desk in the Oval Office!” he told a crowd in Rock Hill at a “Get Out the Vote Rally.”
He focused heavily on his administrative record of success, reminding South Carolinians that he lowered taxes and brought down mortgage rates. He also said that Americans saved around $19,000 every year on their mortgages under the Trump administration.
“We will vanquish Bidenomics,” Trump vowed.
He focused on Friday on “America First” policies and encouraged GOP voters to show up BIG in South Carolina on Saturday and send a “signal to the real hardline people, the people that are destroying our country.”
“Three years ago, under my leadership, we had energy independence and we were soon going to be energy dominant,” he said.
“We have MORE LIQUID gold under our feet than any other country,” he continued, referring to the oil available domestically.
