Trump speaks to New Hampshire primary voters, pledges to slash their energy prices

President Donald Trump spoke directly to the people of New Hampshire on Tuesday, hammering home the main points of his America First Agenda47 policy platform with just one week to go until the state’s early primary.

“We’re going to cut your energy by at least half, and it will be done in the first year, you watch,” he promised.

The president spoke in Atkinson to a full house of MAGA supporters who waited for hours in the snow and cold to see the president speak less than 24 hours after a triumphant landslide victory for Trump in the Iowa caucuses on Monday.

President Donald Trump explained how the stock market was “going up” only “because people think we’re going to win the election.”

He also explained the energy crisis in the Granite State. Trump said, “You have the highest energy prices anywhere in the United States, I hope you know that.”

Trump joked that at night, while lying in bed, “I twist and turn thinking about how I’m going to make our country rich as hell again.”

This comment drew laughter and applause from the crowd.

During his Tuesday speech, Trump hammered Nikki Haley for her Democrat donors and notably invited former GOP presidential candidate and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy onstage to speak about his endorsement of the 45th president.

Ramaswamy was greeted with positive energy and cheers from the crowd. “It is a 1776 moment right now,” Ramaswamy said. “That’s where we live right now.”

President Trump vowed that he would additionally make the Trump Tax Cuts “permanent” and stated that as soon as the world knew that he had beat “Crooked Joe Biden” on Election Day 2024, the next “economic boom” would begin.
