President Trump hit a home run in a new survey from Premise Data, highlighting his dominance yet again amid a crowded and hypothetical race for the 2024 Republican presidential primary nomination.

According to Premise Data’s Bi-Weekly Political Sentiment Tracker, 57 percent of those surveyed indicated that they preferred President Trump as the nominee amid a primary battle comprised of today’s most well-known conservative leaders.

Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., who has not yet announced a presidential bid, garnered 28 percent of support in their survey.

Additionally, when asked to indicate their preference for a candidate in a head-to-head battle between DeSantis and Trump in 2024, 56 percent supported Trump, while 35 percent supported DeSantis.

Other potential contenders for the nomination, like former Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, did not manage to break more than 5 percent and 3 percent of support, respectively.

“My poll numbers are great against everybody, Republican & Democrat, alike,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Tremendous support from the American people. The only way they think they can stop the MAGA movement, or me, is through the Weaponization of Law Enforcement, including CORRUPT local, Radical Left, Democrat D.A.’s. & A.G.’s. It is all run through the Injustice Department and FBI in D.C. This is an EVIL time in America!”

Trump scored another victory this week Morning Consult’s 2024 GOP Primary Tracker, where he netted a whopping 49 percent of Republican support to DeSantis’s 31 percent of support.

So far, no other candidate has officially announced a bid for president. Former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley is expected to announce a 2024 campaign on Feb. 15.

Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is seen as the only potentially viable rival to Trump, is rumored to be considering a summertime presidential announcement, according to a report from the Washington Examiner.
