The Trump campaign celebrated another dismissal of a Fourteenth Amendment ballot challenge against President Donald Trump’s 2024 candidacy in the blue-leaning state of Washington this week.

“Today’s dismissal in the Eastern District of Washington state makes six cases that have spectacularly failed in a partisan pursuit to interfere in the election and remove the right of the American people to vote for the candidate of their choosing,” Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung stated.

According to Inlander, the legal challenge to remove Trump from the ballot came from a Spokane Valley resident who used Section Three of the amendment to argue that the president’s alleged “role” in the events of Jan. 6, 2021, qualified as an insurrection or rebellion.

This legal argument has arisen in multiple jurisdictions across the country, but they have been firmly struck down by the courts.

Most recently, Fourteenth Amendment challenges were struck down in Rhode Island, Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, and Michigan, as pointed out by the Trump campaign.

Cheung added, “President Trump remains undefeated in these cynical and idiotic cases brought forth by Crooked Joe Biden’s cronies.”

He described the Democrats as “running for cover and throwing everything they can at President Trump” to stop his campaign momentum. Unfortunately for the president’s political opponents, Trump is the frontrunner for winning the 2024 GOP primary nomination.

According to the newest HarrisX poll, Trump has a 59-point lead over the other GOP candidates ahead of the 2024 presidential primary, which will start in earnest in just a few weeks with the anticipated Iowa caucuses on Jan. 15.

Cheung explained, “They have tried to prosecute, bankrupt, smear, and outright remove President Trump’s civil rights to prevent his reelection. The American people see right through their schemes and President Trump is more resilient and determined than ever to win in 2024 and Make America Great Again.”
