Speaking at the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) dinner in Florida last weekend, President Trump sent a deafening message to the Old Guard of the GOP.
“The old Republican Party is gone FOREVER,” Trump said, putting the GOP establishment on notice.
The America First movement that took root during Trump’s presidency will be the future of the Republican Party.

The event was closed to the press, however President Trump released a statement to share his remarks with the public.
The Republican Party must fight “fiercely” for the average American Worker, since it is now the working people’s party, according to Trump. The 45th president’s populist perspective that catapulted him to the White House must be preserved if the new GOP is to continue winning elections.
“Some call this American populism, some call it National Conservatism, I call it putting AMERICA FIRST,” Trump added. “But whatever you call it, it is here to stay—and it is not just the BEST way to win, it is the ONLY way to win,” he said in the statement.
Warning against listening to critics of the America First movement, Trump added, “So do not listen to ANYONE who tells you that the REPUBLICAN Party needs to be ‘less divisive’—let’s be clear, it is the Radical Left Marxists and Socialists who are DIVISIVE, and it is by DEFEATING their intolerance and aggression that we will UNITE America.”
After the first year of the Biden administration, Democrat have seen a fierce rejection of a progressive agenda. Republican wins this month in the formerly Democrat stronghold of Virginia, and a closer than expected gubernatorial race in New Jersey, foreshadow a frustrating future for the Democrat Party in 2022.
