Trump touts book by Mark Meadows, decries election fraud as the ‘Crime of the Century’

President Donald Trump recently touted Mark Meadows’ new book, “The Chief’s Chief,” for its focus on the reports of shocking election fraud that have sprung up across the country in regard to the 2020 presidential election.

Mark Meadows, the former White House Chief of Staff to President Trump from 2020 to 2021, stated in an interview with Newsmax that the media was creating “fake news” and conflating elements of his stories about the coronavirus pandemic, erroneously claiming that Trump had contracted Covid before his presidential debate with Joe Biden.

President Trump pointed out on Saturday that the focus of Meadows’ book should be on the information surrounding election fraud, commenting on the matter in an official statement made through his Save America PAC: “Mark Meadows’ new book, The Chief’s Chief, rightfully spends much time talking about the large-scale Election Fraud that took place in the 2020 Presidential Election. Likewise, the crooked and highly partisan Unselect Committee of political hacks looking into the January 6th protest of the Election should spend their time studying the Election Fraud of 2020, also known as the Crime of Century.”

This is not the first time in the last week that President Trump has decried the “rigged” 2020 presidential election. In an earlier statement on Friday, he addressed the dismal jobs report released from the U.S. Department of Labor, slamming Biden for being a “one trick pony” and an administration of “no jobs.” More importantly, Trump noted that “A lot of effort and money went into RIGGING the 2020 Presidential Election, only to destroy the election. Was it worth it?”

Mark Meadows is also one of several former White House advisors to President Trump who is being targeted by the seemingly endless political witch hunt being implemented by the House Select Committee on Jan. 6, which is supposedly investigating the media-labeled “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol. After several months of resisting the committee’s investigation, Meadows agreed to testify last week, according to a report from Breitbart News.

Meadows’ book, “The Chief’s Chief” is slated for release on Dec. 7.
