President Trump is soaring ahead in the Hawkeye State ahead of his anticipated visit on Friday, where he will deliver remarks at the Iowa GOP Lincoln Dinner, joining a slate of other Republican hopefuls in the battle for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

According to RCP, Trump is carrying 50.7 percent of support in the GOP primary in the important caucus state of Iowa, while DeSantis is carrying 19 percent.

South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott (R) has netted 7 percent of support, while both former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and former Vice President Mike Pence have scored 4 percent, respectively.

Race to the WH also projects that Trump will handily sweep the battleground state of Iowa in the 2024 primary along with South Carolina, Nevada, and New Hampshire.

Last week, President Trump traveled to Iowa to take part in a town hall event hosted by Fox News and Sean Hannity in Cedar Rapids. As reported by RSBN, “thousands” of attendees showed up to the town hall to support the president, lining up on the street outside of the venue many hours before the event even started.

In addition to Trump’s sizeable lead in Iowa, he is also leading nationally over the field of Republican candidates. A new poll from Monmouth, for example, found that Trump had a 32-point lead over Governor Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., for the 2024 nomination.

Even more impressively, a Rasmussen survey revealed that among likely primary voters, Trump had a mammoth 44-point lead over DeSantis.

Friday’s GOP Lincoln Dinner event in the Hawkeye State will feature the following confirmed guests, per RSBN:

  • President Donald J. Trump
  • Governor Ron DeSantis
  • Vice President Mike Pence
  • Ambassador Nikki Haley
  • Senator Tim Scott
  • Vivek Ramaswamy
  • Governor Asa Hutchinson
  • Larry Elder
  • Perry Johnson
  • Governor Doug Burgum
  • Mayor Francis Suarez
  • Ryan Binkley
  • Representative Will Hurd

Watch the event live on RSBN on Friday, July 28, at 4:00 p.m. ET.
