President Donald Trump said during a press conference that he would seize the assets of drug cartels and gangs to create a restitution fund for victims of migrant crime.

Trump shared the policy issue during a Mar-a-Lago press conference in West Palm Beach, Florida.

“I’m announcing that for the first time under my administration, we are seizing the assets of the criminal gangs and drug cartels and we will use those assets to create a compensation fund to provide restitution for the victims of migrant crime,” he stated.

Trump also called out Vice President Kamala and President Joe Biden’s policies that led to the growing border crisis.

“She should never be allowed to be the president of the United States,” he stated, adding she “has no remorse or the anguish she’s inflicted upon families all across America,” and that she “intends to conflict and keep this misery going.”

During the event, Trump also played a video from the mother of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray. The daughter was reportedly raped and murdered by two illegal immigrants.

“I truly believe this all could have been prevented. Under [Kamala Harris] being Vice President of this country, my daughter’s life was ripped away from her. She had her entire life ahead of her. My daughter is 6 feet in the ground based off of policies that [Kamala] allowed to keep,” the mother said in the video.

The video has already been viewed over 21.1 million times just on Trump’s X account since Monday.

As RSBN previously reported, Trump spoke with Jocelyn’s mother by phone shortly after the tragedy before he debated with Biden.

Victoria Galvan, best friend of Jocelyn’s mother, revealed the account in a story released by the New York Post.

“He was like, ‘I’m actually about to come on for a debate’ … He gave his condolences, and he said that he would be reaching back out to her,” Galvan said.

“He wanted to … say that he was praying for Alexis and that he’s been thinking about her and he wanted to reach out. He said that he was going to reach out in a couple days to her … I mean, she was really … we were all shocked,” Galvan said.
