President Donald Trump has consistently advocated for a strong and secure southern border since his initial 2016 campaign, and as Title 42 has been allowed to expire this month, his border policies have stood in stark contrast to the Biden administration’s approach to border security.

“Under Biden, our border is gone, our sovereignty is gone,” Trump stated in a recent policy video. “Our national security is gone. And we are quickly becoming that third world nation that I’ve been talking about for so long. It’s happening to us if you can believe that. The United States of America is now a third world nation.”

According to Fox News, U.S. Border Patrol agents have been overwhelmed by thousands of migrants attempting to cross into the country illegally in the wake of Title 42’s expiration.

President Trump has promised to take control of the border crisis if he becomes president again in 2024.

He explained, “…We will use all necessary federal, state, local and military resources to begin the largest domestic deportation effort in American history to send the border violators back to their home countries, and we will do that immediately. This invasion will not stand.”

He added that the country was “being invaded” and “destroyed by very, very stupid people.”

Last week, videos surfaced on social media that exposed the chaos at the southern border as thousands of international migrants waited for Title 42 to expire.

“Migrants crossing the border from Haiti, Africa and the Middle East,” rising conservative star Kari Lake commented on Twitter. “These aren’t asylum seekers fleeing persecution. They’re opportunists taking advantage of a feckless President and a government that doesn’t enforce its own laws.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., added, “America’s Southern border is ravaged by an illegal alien invasion and Joe Biden isn’t doing a damn thing to stop them.”
