Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson, a Republican, spoke out against the Omicron variant on Saturday, warning Americans that the Democrats will use the new Covid-19 variant to “cheat” in the 2022 midterm elections.
Dr. Ronny Jackson, who served as part of the White House medical unit and a White House physician during the Obama and Trump administrations, is urging caution as Americans prepare for the Omicron variant of Covid-19. He states, “Here comes the MEV-the Midterm Election Variant!” Jackson also claims, “They NEED a reason to push unsolicited nationwide mail-in ballots.”
On Friday, the Biden administration announced that the United States would be restricting travel from eight African nations in response to reports of the Omicron variant.
During an interview with ABC over the weekend, Dr. Anthony Fauci said, “You want to be prepared to do anything and everything” to fight the newest Covid-19 variant. Fauci’s comments have made Americans uneasy as they face the fear of additional Covid-19 lockdowns during the Christmas season.
Omicron has been labeled “a variant of concern” by the World Health Organization due to its transmissibility and severity. This new variant is sure to cause more division and controversy over vaccine mandates, mask mandates, and government lockdowns. However, Jackson believes that this new variant is about more than medical mandates.
Jackson believes the Democrats will use the newest variant of Covid-19 to push for mail-in ballots, which were widely used in the 2020 elections. The issue of mail-in ballots has become a source of hotly contested controversy due to allegations of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election.
With Republicans holding a major lead over Democrats in the 2022 midterm polling, it would not be surprising if Democrats seize upon the opportunity to push for widespread use of mail-in ballots once again. This is exactly what Jackson is concerned about and is signaling to the American people.
Jackson warns Americans, “Democrats will do anything to CHEAT during an election-but we’re not going to let them!” If Democrats attempt to use the Omicron variant to “cheat” in the midterms, they will face significant Republican opposition. While Americans were quick to accept the use of mall-in ballots for the 2020 election during the earlier stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, Americans are beginning to push back in defense of their freedoms and the security of their elections.
As Americans prepare to face the newest Covid-19 strain, the question remains whether the Democrats will use the Omicron variant to their benefit during the 2022 midterm cycle, or if Americans will unite in opposition to another misuse of the pandemic to influence American elections.
