Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is set to appear on ABC’s “The View” next week alongside left-leaning hosts like Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin, just weeks after the ladies on the show suggested that Republicans were “scared” to appear on the program.

“I look forward to joining the ladies on The View next Tuesday!” Rep. Greene wrote on X, along with a video clip from the show revealing the announcement.

“I don’t know how many things we agree on, but I know the one thing that she and I and all of us at this table agree on is that this should not be affecting the American people,” Goldberg stated, referring to the ongoing government shutdown.

Next Tuesday – the day Greene is scheduled to appear as a guest on the show – is Election Day.

This upcoming appearance comes just weeks after “The View” host Joy Behar suggested that Republicans don’t frequently appear on the show because they are frightened.

“I think we should have more Republicans on the show,” she said, “but they don’t want to come on, they’re scared of us…Marjorie Taylor Greene says that she finds the Republican men afraid of powerful women.”

Behar’s comment drew considerable backlash and comical responses from Republicans who claimed that they had asked to appear on “The View,” but had not been accommodated.

“When I was pitched to go on, they said no lol[,]” said women’s sports advocate and TPUSA contributor Riley Gaines.

Daniell Alvaraz, a senior advisor for the RNC, said in a statement on social media that Congressman Byron Donalds, R-Fla., has offered to appear on “The View” but “the show has declined.”

Conservative radio show host Clay Travis also revealed that his team had pitched him as a guest on “The View” last summer, but clearly, no such appearance materialized.
