President Trump is expected to hold another rally in North Carolina to help get GOP congressional candidate Dan Bishop elected to the state’s 9th district.

The president made the announcement via twitter Thursday saying, “Looking forward to soon being in North Carolina to hold a big rally for wonderful Dan Bishop, who is running for Congress.”

President Trump continued by saying Bishop has his “full and complete endorsement.”

The president also slammed Bishop’s opponent, Dan McCready, for advocating “open borders, sanctuary cities, and socialism.”

The pair are battling it out in a special election scheduled for September 10 to represent North Carolina’s 9th congressional district.

The special election is essentially a redo since North Carolina State Board of Elections dismissed the results over allegations of voter fraud.

Mark Harris ran against McCready in the election and allegedly won, but by a margin of less than one thousand votes.

According to The Hill, the only poll findings recorded have indicated the pair are tied signaling a close race.

President Trump’s remarks come about one month after his latest North Carolina rally which was held at the Williams Arena in Greenville.

Details regarding the upcoming rally have yet to be announced.
