President Donald Trump now has no less than a 59-point lead over every other GOP candidate.

Team Trump released the news Thursday in a post on X with the unmistakable caption, “A 59 POINT LEAD for @realDonaldTrump.” Accompanying the post was a photo that read, “President Trump holds 59-point lead with every other candidate in the single digits.” The poll was sourced from Harris X and taken in late November.

This has been the story of the race for the 2024 Republican nomination.

Axios reported earlier this month that the outcomes of a pivotal swing state poll conducted by The New York Times and Siena College.

In a hypothetical election held today, former President Donald Trump would secure over 300 electoral votes, outpacing President Joe Biden.

The poll underscores President Trump’s dominance in five of six swing states, including Nevada, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Concerns about Biden’s age abound, with 71 percent deeming him “too old.” Furthermore, President Trump maintains an economic trust advantage among swing state voters.

Responding to the poll, Kevin Munoz, a spokesperson for Biden’s reelection campaign, emphasizes the fluid nature of predictions over a year before the election, citing historical precedents.

It was further reported by The Hill early in November, a widening lead for former President Trump over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., as indicated by a University of North Florida (UNF) poll.

The Hill’s report indicates that approximately 60 percent of respondents in the UNF poll favor President Trump, while 21 percent support DeSantis.

In a head-to-head matchup, President Trump leads DeSantis by a commanding 20 points. Despite DeSantis’s stronghold in Florida, the poll signals potential challenges for his national campaign.

Notably, DeSantis grapples with setbacks, losing pivotal endorsements to President Trump, including backing from influential figures like Sen. Rick Scott.

The UNF poll, as reported by The Hill, involved around 800 registered voters throughout late October and early November, carrying a margin of error of about 3.8 percent.

Expanding on these contrasting poll results, they underscore the dynamic political landscape, providing early indicators of potential hurdles and opportunities for candidates as the 2024 election approaches. The data paints an encouraging picture, indicating robust support for President Trump.

These numbers are particularly heartening for supporters of President Trump who are eagerly anticipating his return to the White House in 2024.
