President Donald Trump came out swinging on Wednesday night in South Carolina, speaking to a huge crowd of supporters in North Charleston for a high-energy “Get Out the Vote” rally with just a matter of days until the state holds its GOP primary election.
He highlighted the “affordability crisis” that is taking place under the feckless leadership of Joe Biden, vowing that as president again in 2025, “we will once again live by the maxim of the Trump administration: BUY AMERICAN, HIRE AMERICAN.”
This elicited big applause and cheers from the crowd.
He also promised to pass the Trump Reciprocal Trade Act in office again, which he explained very simply: “WHEN THEY SCREW US, WE SCREW THEM.”
He vowed that “other countries will not be allowed to rip us off any longer.”
The president further talked about how Joe Biden was “waging war” on America’s middle class and laid out the crushing effects that rising inflation was having on families today. He stated that under the Trump administration, average families were saving $19,000 per year, when he was in office. That is not the case under Joe Biden.
“Under President Trump – me – Americans liberated themselves from debt by paying off roughly $150 billion from their credit cards, the only major decline in DECADES. The first time in DECADES that was happening,” he also added.
