In November, Floridians have a very important decision to make. They can keep Florida free and prosperous or allow it to go into a state of ruination by electing a man who will implement Joe Biden’s disastrous policies.
Gubernatorial candidate Rep. Charlie Crist, D-Fla., is, for all intents and purposes, Biden 2.0. Just recently, Crist praised Biden for attacking MAGA Republicans during a recent address to the nation.
As reported by Breitbart, Crist stated, “God love him. God love him, and I do. And he’s told it straight. Democracy is at stake. … Our freedoms are at stake. And the President laid it out, and he couldn’t hold back and I’m so damn proud of him for it.” Crist also praised Biden during a recent interview on CNN, stating, “What other president could have done what he’s done? He’s been phenomenal!”
By endorsing and praising Biden and his policies, Crist is telling Floridians that they can expect policies that will mirror Biden’s throughout the Sunshine State.
Such policies include efforts to indoctrinate children in schools and elsewhere, the inappropriate sexualization of children at various venues throughout Florida, unnecessary lockdowns and mandates in Florida’s schools and elsewhere, business shutdowns and closures, dangerous abortion policies, severe crackdowns on various constitutional rights including the Second Amendment, higher taxes, the imposition of woke ideologies, and a loss of various freedoms that so many Floridians cherish.
Interestingly, while Crist boasts about Biden’s policies and accomplishments and attacks Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., he cannot explain why so many people are fleeing Democrat-run states and flocking to Florida and other freedom-loving states. Why would people flock to a state with such a seemingly terrible governor? Maybe Crist will address a question of this nature during the debate scheduled for Oct. 12.
Make no mistake – Charlie Crist seemingly wants to turn the Sunshine State into “Bidenland,” and it is up to Florida voters to stop him. According to a recent report in The Hill, “Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) holds a narrow three-point lead over Democratic Rep. Charlie Crist (D-Fla.) in a new poll commissioned by AARP for Florida’s gubernatorial race.” The Hill further reported that the “polling falls within the margin of error, effectively tying the two candidates.”
While many do not give too much credence to polls (especially this early), Republicans in Florida need to pay close attention. Unlike previous elections, they can play a major role in the outcome of this year’s midterm elections.
As reported by Breitbart, “Republicans now outnumber Democrats in the state by over 267,000 voters, according to the governor.” If a large percentage of these voters go out and vote for Governor DeSantis, Crist will have a tough time making up these votes. This is especially true if there is a strong Independent turnout for Gov. DeSantis. According to The Hill, “Among Independents, a critical voting bloc that will help determine if the governor gets another term in the swing state, DeSantis received 49 percent support while Crist received 45 percent.”
In simple terms, so long as Independents do not lean heavily towards Crist, which is highly unlikely, Republicans can make the governor’s quest for a second term much easier if they simply show up and vote. The number of registered voters, as it currently stands, overwhelmingly favors the GOP at this time. Republican Floridians owe it to Gov. DeSantis, who has done so much for the state of Florida. He has stood strong and has fought tirelessly to protect the rights of parents, children, businesses, and freedom-loving Floridians. Come November, he deserves the support he has earned. If registered Republicans show up and vote, there is a good chance that Florida will remain one of the nation’s most sought-after destinations.
