In Iowa, it’s America First or nothing, according to the 45th President of the United States. Upon Monday’s hotly anticipated caucuses, which will strongly set the tone for the 2024 GOP presidential primary race, President Trump issued a statement on Truth Social that elevated the importance of America First above all else.

Trump wrote, “The days of the RINOS and non-AMERICA FIRST candidates are OVER! Nikki is a Globalist RINO, backed by American’s for Chinese Growth, the Charles Koch con job.”

The president hammered former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, who is a distant runner-up in the final Des Moines Register poll. However, in the latest Trafalgar poll, she is a narrow third, trailing Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., by just under one full point.

He explained in his statement, “Nikki Haley can never win in the General Election because she doesn’t have MAGA, and never will! Ron DeSanctimonious, at least, is MAGA-Lite. Remember, I think MAGA is almost ALL of the Republican Party.”

President Trump also came after businessman and GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. Until now, Trump had remained relatively silent on Ramaswamy’s presence in the Republican primary, but a recent veiled political stunt aimed at Trump changed things over the past few days.

Trump explained that a vote for Vivek Ramaswamy is “wasted.”

Earlier on Monday morning, he expanded on his thoughts about Ramaswamy, who has gained popularity within the last year by allying himself closely with MAGA supporters and America First policies.

Trump wrote, “A VOTE FOR VIVEK IS A WASTED VOTE. I LIKE VIVEK, BUT HE PLAYED IT TOO ‘CUTE’ WITH US. CAUCUS TONIGHT, VOTE FOR DONALD J. TRUMP, BUILD UP THE NUMBERS!!!”

President Trump is clearly in it to win it, and his latest statements again reminded his supporters that he believes that the majority of the Republican Party are those who are seeking to vote for America First and MAGA candidates.
