American pride on full display during epic presidential parade celebrating President Trump’s inauguration

President Donald J. Trump walked into the Capital One Arena on Monday just after taking the oath of office, where he greeted thousands of electrified supporters who were unable to see him get sworn in at the U.S. Capitol due to the indoor ceremony and space restrictions.

The president impactfully took the stage alongside his lovely wife, First Lady Melania Trump, as the audience erupted in cheers and applause. The crowd was extremely excited to see the 47th Commander-in-Chief as he entered the arena. He sported a smile and even joined the crowd as they chanted, “FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!”

Also in attendance was Vice President J.D. Vance and his family as well as President Trump’s family members, including Barron Trump, Eric Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and their respective families.

President Trump proudly looked on as bands paraded through the arena, ranging from the U.S. Army to the Palm Beach Police & Fire Guard Unit. The parade also included the Butler, Pennsylvania First Responders. The group carried fallen former firefighter Corey Comperatore’s uniform to pay homage to his memory.

Comperatore was shot and killed on July 13, 2024, during the assassination attempt against the president’s life in Butler, Pennsylvania at a MAGA rally. On Monday, the audience in the Capital One Arena also observed a moment of silence for the fallen firefighter to honor his service and his life.

It was a very sobering moment and a solemn reminder of just how far President Trump – and America – has come in this journey to reclaim the White House.

Earlier in the afternoon, the president also completed the traditional inspection of the troops inside the U.S. Capitol, which followed a traditional luncheon inside the National Statuary Hall.
