Americans buckle under inflation, recall cheaper days under President Trump

Everything in America cost considerably less when President Donald Trump was in the White House, leaving Americans today longing for a return to his strong America First policies that stimulated the economy and kept consumer goods on the shelves at reasonable prices.

According to a previous report from RSBN, inflation in America has surged to an all-time high, skyrocketing at an abnormally fast rate that has not been seen in almost 40 years, thanks to Joe Biden’s depressive legislative policies, wild, trillion-dollar spending packages, and total inaction on the nationwide supply chain crisis gripping the nation and stalling the American economy.

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, shared several statistics on the current prices in America on Friday, illustrating the shocking increase on goods and services in just the one year since Biden took office. According to his tweet, gas is up by 49.6 percent, used cars are up by 37.3 percent, and food is up by more than 10 percent.

Additionally, he noted that the hourly earnings in America are down by 2.4 percent.

Of course, it doesn’t take an expert to realize that prices on goods are simultaneously rising while becoming more difficult to find. Americans everywhere have been sharing pictures of empty store shelves across the country on social media using the hashtag #BareShelvesBiden.

As the supply chain crisis escalates and the Biden administration does nothing to assuage an American economy that is rapidly bottoming out, many fear that the United States may be headed toward a financial crash and subsequent depression.

Additionally, the Labor Department reported that the Consumer Price Index rose to seven percent in December 2021, the worst surge that has been recorded since 1982.

Looking ahead into 2022, it seems that there seems to be little hope for an economic recovery as long as Joe Biden remains in office. However, Biden’s beleaguered economy may serve to boost Republican victories across the nation as the 2022 midterms kick off and frustrated American voters take their grievances to the polls.
