President Donald Trump has consistently had to push back against untenable challenges over the past year, forging forward in perhaps the most unprecedented presidential campaign in American history.
There have been so many legal attacks on Trump since he announced his 2024 reelection campaign that it seems incredible – impossible, even – that the 45th president has been able to keep his head in the game ahead of the November general election.
Trump is facing a slew of court battles ranging from presidential immunity to RICO charges in Fulton County, Georgia. On Monday, he arrived at a New York courthouse to sit for a hearing regarding new evidence in the Stormy Daniels “hush money” case, telling the press that the entire thing was a “witch hunt” and a “hoax.”
“VOTER INTIMIDATION by the White House THUGS, and it will never work!” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Monday morning.
The president is dealing with so many court cases that the average American voter likely has trouble keeping all the details straight. Yet despite the sheer velocity of political attacks, mainstream narratives, and court cases, the American people have Trump’s back through thick and thin.
A new poll from Harvard/Harris, for example, found that even in a hypothetical conviction in the so-called “classified documents” case in Florida, American voters nationwide favored Trump over Biden by eight points.
On Monday, Trump scored a big win in the New York civil fraud judgment when an appellate court ruled that he could post a $175 million appeal bond rather than Judge Arthur Engoron’s egregious $454 million (or more) bond amount that was originally set.
Trump wrote in response, “I DID NOTHING WRONG, AND NEW YORK SHOULD NEVER BE PUT IN A POSITION LIKE THIS AGAIN. BUSINESSES ARE FLEEING, VIOLENT CRIME IS FLOURISHING, AND IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THIS BE RESOLVED IN ITS TOTALITY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU!”
Shortly before Monday’s surprisingly victorious ruling for Trump, he posted a “Beautiful” Bible verse that a presumed supporter had sent him.
The verse was Psalm 109:3-8:
“They have also surrounded me with words of hatred,
And fought against me without a cause.
In return for my love they are my accusers,
But I give myself to prayer.
Thus they have rewarded me evil for good,
And hatred for my love.
Set a wicked man over him,
And let an accuser stand at his right hand.
When he is judged, let him be found guilty,
And let his prayer become sin.
Let his days be few,
And let another take his office.”
The anonymous note added, “I’m praying this over you daily. So many praying for you. Thank you again for taking the arrows intended for us. We love you.”
Incredibly, Trump keeps winning big, overcoming one impossible hurdle after another as he maintains a mission focus on winning the White House. With the Republican presidential primary locked down and the general election looming on the horizon, “Teflon Don” has the support of the American people in spirit and in prayer.
As the country gets ready to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ this upcoming Easter weekend, the story of a savior’s triumphant victory over darkness and death is perhaps a fitting time for America as a nation to hold firmly to truth, justice, and work toward the sweet possibility of a future victory for freedom.
