Anna Paulina Luna, the Trump-endorsed GOP congressional candidate for Florida’s Pinellas County race, is leading by double digits, according to a new internal poll shared with Florida Politics.

The Spry Strategies poll shows Luna “drawing 36% support among likely Republican Primary voters in the Pinellas County-based district, giving her a 20-point edge over her closest competitor, Kevin Hayslett.”

The survey additionally revealed that when voters were made aware that President Donald Trump had endorsed Luna, voter support jumped to 53 percent, “giving her a 41-point advantage over her closest competitor.”

The Spry Strategies poll was conducted on June 8-11 and was comprised of a sample size of 556 Republican primary voters with a margin of error of “plus or minus 4.2 percentage points,” according to Florida Politics.

Last year, Luna was given a glowing endorsement by President Trump, who called her a “great fighter,” a “warrior,” and a “winner.” Luna is also an Air Force veteran who has shown commitment to foundational America First policies like border security.

Anna Paulina Luna ran for Congressional District 13 in 2020 but came up short against Democrat Rep. Charlie Crist. However, with the power of President Trump’s endorsement, it looks like Luna is poised to soar to victory in the midterm elections.

According to the Florida Politics report, only one in seven of the voters surveyed in the poll disapproved of President Trump, and 75 percent of the voters were already familiar with Luna ahead of the primary, which will take place on Aug. 23.

In January, Luna raked in a staggering $500,000 during the fourth quarter of 2021, bringing her fundraising total to more than $1 million. This came after President Trump hosted a fundraiser for her at his famed Mar-a-Lago resort last December.
