President Trump’s push for American manufacturing pays off as tech giant Apple announces a large expansion of its American Manufacturing Program.
Breitbart reported that Apple has expanded its footprint by bringing more advanced manufacturing and critical component production to the country. The tech company will be working with four partners, Bosch, Cirrus Logic, TDK, and Qnity Electronics, to manufacture materials and components in the U.S. for Apple products. The expansion will see them spending $400 million on these programs through 2030.
In a statement shared by Apple, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook said, “At Apple, we believe in the power of American innovation and manufacturing, and we’re proud to partner with even more companies to produce critical components and cutting-edge materials for our products right here in the U.S.”
He added, “This is another powerful example of what is possible when we invest in American ingenuity, and we’re excited to build the future together.”
The company said that these programs will create new jobs while strengthening the county’s manufacturing capabilities. This expansion will accelerate the $600 billion American Manufacturing Program, which was launched in August 2025.
Breitbart reports that the company has pledged a four-year commitment to U.S. manufacturing and innovation. The company already supports 450,000 jobs across all 50 states, with thousands more expected to open in research and development, silicon engineering, artificial intelligence, and software development.
The expansion will also bring President Trump’s vision of America to the forefront of innovation by pioneering high-performance computing and AI. For the first time, the new partner, TDK, will manufacture sensors in the U.S. for use in devices shipped globally.
This will help increase the volume of chips that Apple sources from local silicon supply chains.
Breitbart reports that since launching its program, Apple has sourced more than 20 billion U.S.-made chips from 24 factories across 12 states, and in 2026, this number is expected to increase by over 100 million. This growth highlights the rise of American manufacturing and production while reducing the country’s reliance on overseas production.
