As reported by KTLA, an armed man with a fake VIP pass was arrested by local law enforcement after attempting to enter President Trump’s Coachella rally on October 12, 2024.

A press release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office indicated that deputies stationed for President Trump’s rally apprehended Vem Miller, a 49-year-old resident of Las Vegas.

Miller was spotted in his black SUV at a checkpoint at the intersection of Avenue 52 and Celebration Drive “in possession of a shotgun, loaded handgun, and a high-capacity magazine.”

Local authorities confirmed that the safety of rallygoers and President Trump was not compromised.
