President Donald Trump has likely never shied away from a fight in his life, and when it comes to Joe Biden’s history of dodging a commitment to a political debate with the Republican nominee this year, many have doubted if Biden would be willing to face Trump.
As fate would have it, while Trump sits in a New York courtroom amidst a drawn-out criminal trial brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Biden may have accidentally committed to debating Trump.
During an interview with Howard Stern, the host commented that he “didn’t know if you are going to debate your opponent.”
Biden replied, “I am, somewhere. I don’t know when. I am happy…”
Trump has repeatedly challenged Biden to a general election debate, calling for it to take place “ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYPLACE!” Biden has refused to commit to a debate. Even his most recent comment to Howard Stern is dubious, as Biden seemed slightly confused when he made his remark.
Regardless, President Trump took to Truth Social shortly after news broke about Biden’s comment, declaring that he was still willing to debate anytime, and even suggested that they do it at the New York courthouse the same night that he found out about Biden’s remarks.
Trump wrote, “I suggest Monday Evening, Tuesday Evening, or Wednesday Evening at my Rally in Michigan, a State that he is in the process of destroying with his E.V. Mandate. In the alternative, he’s in New York City today, although probably doesn’t know it, and so am I, stuck in one of the many Court cases that he instigated as ELECTION INTERFERENCE AGAINST A POLITICAL OPPONENT – A CONTINUING WITCH HUNT!”
He added, “In fact, let’s do the Debate at the Courthouse tonight – on National Television, I’ll wait around!”
