President Donald Trump headed to Marietta, Georgia, on Tuesday, and the crowds didn’t disappoint.
Footage from RSBN’s live coverage of the event showed impressively large crowds of people waiting to get into the rally held at a high school in Cobb County.
At one point, the crowd even broke out into an audience-wide rendition of the National Anthem. See the footage here:
According to Atlanta News First, President Trump’s visit to Wheeler High School was focused largely on touting the success of his new “Trump Accounts” for American children. The accounts launched in early July and offer eligible American newborns an investment account seeded with $1,000 in federal money.
As reported by RSBN, more than six million American children have already signed up for the program since its launch, according to President Trump’s comments earlier this month.
Georgia will be a key hotspot to watch in the 2026 midterm elections. Georgia Congressman Mike Collins, a Republican, will be running against current Georgia Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff for the key Senate seat, for example.
The Georgia Secretary of State election will also be critical to watch this year, as it will determine who will replace current Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger.
The president’s Tuesday trip to Georgia came just hours after he attended the dignified transfer of four fallen American service members who perished overseas amid the war with Iran.
According to a report from USA Today, President Trump invited the family members of one of the fallen service members to join him on Air Force One as he headed to Georgia. The family reportedly invited aboard was the kin of 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan.
Feehan’s father told CNN recently that his son had enlisted in the Army in Hawaii but primarily lived in Georgia.
