Harriet Hageman, the Republican candidate fighting to oust “RINO” Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., announced this week her campaign raised over $1.3 million in funds in the first quarter of 2022.

Since announcing her candidacy last September, Hageman has raked in more than $2 million from more than 21,000 donations. A campaign press release stated that Hageman also ended the quarter with over $1 million in cash on hand.

“It is an honor to have such support and I pledge to always reflect the views and values of the people of Wyoming when I am in Congress,” the Trump-endorsed candidate said, celebrating the milestone. “This is Wyoming’s seat in the House, not one individual’s.”

Hageman is likely to clinch the Republican nomination after the Wyoming Republican Party voted, 31-29, to no longer recognize Cheney as a member of the GOP in November.

The Wyoming GOP also recently voted to censure Cheney following her decision to vote to impeach President Trump after Jan. 6.

In response to Cheney’s disloyalty, President Trump endorsed Hageman in September. “Unlike RINO Liz Cheney, Harriet is all in for America First,” he said. “Harriet has my Complete and Total Endorsement in replacing the Democrats number one provider of sound bites, Liz Cheney.”

As RSBN previously reported, Hageman was leading Cheney in a January Wyoming Republican State Central Committee’s straw poll. Out of the 71 representatives in the committee, 83 percent expressed support for Hageman, while Cheney received only 8 percent of GOP support.
