UFC CEO and President Dana White stood up for President Donald Trump recently, sharing during an interview on “This Past Weekend” with Theo Von exactly what he did when one of UFC’s biggest sponsors told him to remove a pro-Trump video from his social media page.
He explained, “I posted a video for Trump on my personal social media and one of our big sponsors called and said, ‘Take that down.’ You know what I said? ‘Go f*** yourself.” White did not say which sponsor asked him to take down his video of Trump.
His comments were part of a broader conversation about censorship and sponsorship pressures, in which host Theo Von shared that he had taken heat for allowing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be on his show.
“You vote for whoever you want to vote for, and I’ll vote for whoever I want to vote for – that’s how this works,” White continued. “I don’t even care who you’re voting for, it’s none of my f******* business, but f*** you.”
Dana White is a friend of President Donald Trump and recently walked out with him in New York City at Madison Square Garden for UFC 295. The crowds greeted the president with raucous applause and cheering. He also walked out with ex-Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Kid Rock, and Donald Trump Jr.
“Don’t ever f****** call me and tell me who to vote for,” White added simply.
Host Theo Von agreed, noting, “Yeah, I think a lot of people feel in fear these days. A lot of people feel in fear that if they don’t vote for certain people, they’re going to lose their job.”
White replied, “It’ll keep happening unless people stand up for themselves – give them the ‘f*** you’ response.”
