Despite Some GOP Skeptics, America Needs Trump

Joe Biden has done immense damage to the nation in a relatively short period time. As expected, he blames President Donald Trump for the nation’s rapid decline, although most sensible people see through this charade.

The fact that Biden and his far-left colleagues continue to demonize Trump is not surprising. What is surprising, however, is the fact that some Republicans refuse to fully support the 45th president. This is a grave mistake. As a matter of fact, given the current state of the nation, and despite some alleged GOP skeptics, America needs Donald Trump more than ever before.

As reported by NBC News, some Republican Party officials do not want to organize the GOP around Trump’s various grievances:

A winning message would emphasize inflation and parental rights, they said — not the 2020 election, which Trump falsely insists he won. Strengthening the party would require opening it up to new voters — not punishing Republicans who have disagreed with Trump, they added.

The sentiments echo those of local GOP leaders, who said late last year that they were ready to move beyond the 2020 election, even if Trump wasn’t. They wanted to put issues like border security, the Afghanistan troop withdrawal and education front and center.

A goal of the RNC winter meetings, members said, was for Republicans to project “unity.” Yet Trump remains a source of division that has spilled into the party’s gathering.

Assuming these alleged statements are accurate, these leaders are making a big mistake for several reasons.

First, Trump is the leader of the Republican Party. Opposing him publicly or privately is a recipe for disaster for any Republican who is foolish enough to do so.

Second, Trump continues to have a solid following. Isolating from his base will put any Republican in a major political hole.

Third, Americans trust Trump because he fulfills his promises. They have had enough of the fake promises uttered by RINOs and career politicians who say what Americans want to hear (i.e., “winning messages”) and subsequently abandon them once they are elected.

Fourth, Trump is the only person who can withstand the relentless onslaught by the Democrats, which is why they are so afraid of him and why they are so determined to prevent him from holding public office.

Additionally, while Trump discusses the 2020 election during his rallies and elsewhere, he should continue to do so because Americans should not forget what transpired. These reminders also serve to motivate his followers and others who don’t like what is happening in the country today.

Moreover, and contrary to some of the alleged concerns raised in the NBC News article, Trump spends quite a bit of time discussing the important issues facing Americans today, including jobs, the economy, inflation, taxes, immigration, Biden’s terrible border policies, Covid, Afghanistan, the Middle East, and security at home and abroad.

Unlike many Republicans in office, Trump gets things done and fulfills his promises to the American people. By way of reminder, as president, some of Trump’s accomplishments included draining the swamp in Washington D.C., repealing the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate, reducing illegal immigration, cancelling the terrible Iran nuclear deal, creating a strong economy, facilitating peace deals between Israel and Middle East countries, among countless more.

Compared to Joe Biden’s administration, the contrast is stark. America needs Trump more than ever before. The nation is heading in the wrong direction and America as we know it could soon be a distant memory without a true and tested leader who can fight back against the radical Democrats.

If Trump decides to run for reelection, he should have the backing and support of all Republicans in Congress. American voters want action, not catchy words or phrases. They want a smart and tough leader who demands respect, not a career politician who makes false promises and later brushes them aside. They want a loyal leader, not a RINO who is easily manipulated and changes positions with each passing day. Finally, they want someone who is tested. Democrats will come hard at any potential Republican presidential nominee. For the time being, Trump is the only one who can withstand the certain onslaught while pushing to make America great.

As the nation continues to spiral out of control, it is abundantly clear that America desperately needs Trump more than ever before.
