Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on Monday announced a multimillion-dollar advertisement campaign aimed at urging illegal aliens within the United States to self-deport immediately or face forced deportation and a future immigration ban.

Noem announced the campaign on X, explaining that these ads will be run nationally and internationally. “This serves as a strong warning to criminal illegal aliens to not come to America,” she wrote. “If they do, they will be hunted down and deported.”

She also posted a video along with her statement, thanking President Donald Trump for securing America’s borders and issuing a stern message to anyone hoping to enter the United States in violation of immigration laws.

“If you are considering entering America illegally, don’t even think about it,” she warned. “Let me be clear, if you come to our country and you break our laws, we will hunt you down. Criminals are not welcome in the United States.”

According to a press release from DHS, the ads will be run on digital, broadcast, and radio platforms. “Ads will be hyper-targeted, including through social media, text message and digital to reach illegal immigrants in the interior of the United States, as well as internationally,” per the statement.

This message from Noem also comes amid news that border encounters have plummeted to an all-time low under the strong leadership of President Trump.

“In the last 24 hours the US Border Patrol has encountered a total of 229 aliens across the entire southwest border. That is down from a high of over 11,000 a day under Biden,” Border Czar Tom Homan wrote on X on Monday.

He continued, “I started as a Border Patrol Agent in 1984 and I don’t remember the numbers ever being that low. President Trump promised a secure border and he is delivering.”
