President Trump ravaged the Biden administration for its “incompetent” handling of the Chinese spy balloon situation that gripped the nation for several days last week, slamming their slow response act against the threat.

“The Chinese Balloon situation is a disgrace, just like the Afghanistan horror show, and everything else surrounding the grossly incompetent Biden Administration,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “They are only good at cheating in elections, and disinformation — and now they are putting out that a Balloon was put up by China during the Trump Administration, in order to take the ‘heat’ off the slow moving Biden fools.”

According to Fox News, U.S. military officials decided to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon a full week after they first spotted it drifting over Alaska.

The balloon was shot down on Saturday off the South Carolina coastline.

President Trump pointed out that when he was in the White House, “China had too much respect for ‘TRUMP’ for this to have happened, and it NEVER did. JUST FAKE DISINFORMATION!”

Trump was referring to a mainstream claim that Chinese blimps were also flown over the U.S. during the Trump administration. The 45th president, however, has strongly refuted that claim.

He continued, “Who sends a Billion Dollar blimp, with the most sophisticated equipment in the World, and large enough to hold ten cars or 3 large buses, into a complex pattern over the United States, without it quite possibly being manned, such as the ‘manned spacecraft?’ China should have been called to ask. If ‘no,’ shoot it down, if ‘yes,’ negotiate the greatest deal EVER!”

Last week, Trump called for a simple solution to the undeterred spycraft making its way across the continental United States: “SHOOT DOWN THE BALLOON!” he wrote.

On Friday, the Pentagon stated that it had spotted a second Chinese spy balloon flying over Latin America, per Just the News.

“The Chinese would never have floated the Blimp (‘Balloon’) over the United States if I were President!!!” Trump remarked on Sunday on Truth Social.
